The brief

Jonathan Rees, owner of Momoho, works with individuals and groups of people, to create and train teams to work more effectively together. He contacted me for some help to upgrade the design of his current website – with the intention to do the build of the site himself. Whilst Jonathan already had an existing logo for Momoho, the brand wasn't really reflected across the rest of the site.

The design

Momoho work with people everyday. The main thing I felt was missing from the current website, was images of people, so I made suggestions based on both illustration and photography styles. Illustrated characters reflected a range of different kinds of people and the idea was to use words in speech bubbles to help them guide the viewer around the site.

As well as the home page design, I looked at inner page templates – including photographic image styles and simple but clean typographic rules. Blog overview and blog post layouts were also created, along with relevant image styles.

The result

Whilst the new website is still in development, the client is very pleased with the design templates. They bring life to a brand and now give Jonathan the tools he needs to refresh the site and communicate to his potential clients more effectively.

My website was badly in need of a re-vamp and re-focussing on what I actually do. Christian asked me a lot of questions to dig into what my business is all about and then came up with the three ideas for a new home page. What was different was that he’d really thought about everything we’d talked about, and he’d noticed something that I was completely blind to – and made changes accordingly. I was so pleased with the design that I asked him to extend his scope to the entire site.
